On Wednesday, April 24, 1918, at Odessadale, Ga., KATE VIRGINIA HARRIS (nee Kate Virginia Moses, of Washington, D. C.), widow of Hon. Henry R. Harris. Interment at Greenville, Ga.

MARTHA HOLMAN
Martha Holman, daughter of John and Rhoda Ligon and wife of Thornton Holman, died in Meriwether County, Ga., on 18th August 1872, aged 72 years.

THORNTON HOLMAN
Thornton Holman was born April 2d 1790, and died May 19th 1874. This man was a native of Virginia, born about fifty miles south of Richmond. After serving as a soldier in the war of 1812, he went to a good school in Union District, S. C., for two years. He married Miss Rhoda Ligon, near Augusta, Ga. In 1829 he settled in Meriwether County, Ga., near the line of Coweta.
